Who I am

Raised in a family rooted in resistance and cultural resurgence, I learned early on that stories aren’t just told — they’re lived, protected, and passed forward. My journey has never followed a straight line: from construction sites to law offices to handcrafting chocolate, each step has sharpened my eye and strengthened my spirit. I created a trailer for the documentary Warrior Women that helped secure grant funding, studied at the New York Film Academy in 2021, and produced films including a repatriation piece for the Rosebud Sioux Tribe and a PBS short, Sine Koze, on fancy shawl dancing. I founded Hostile Territory Productions to reclaim narrative control, ensuring Indigenous stories are told with cinematic artistry, cultural depth, and uncompromising authenticity.
